My School Sports Day

Today is Sports Day at my school! I wake up early and wear my sports clothes. I feel excited to run in the races. My friends cheer for me, and I cheer for them too. I run fast in the 100-meter race and win a medal! We have fun playing games and eating snacks. I love Sports Day because we all work together and support each other. It is a great day!

School Sports Meeting

My school held a sports meeting recently. There were many events such as running, jumping, and throwing. I participated in the running race. My classmates cheered me on. The athletes all went all out. Although I didn't get a ranking, my mom was still proud of me. She said that I am a brave child and she gave me a thumbs-up.

Last Week We Had the School Sports Meet

Last week we had the school sports meet on our school sports ground. All my classmates took active parts in it. Sometimes we watched the sports games closely. Sometimes we gave loud cheers to the sports members. John took part in the 1500-meter race and won the first place. Lisa did not do well in high-jump, so we said “come on” to cheer her up. I took part in the 200-meter running race. As soon as I heard the starting PANG, I tried my best to run faster than others. As I was running, I could hear “Come on! Come on!” from my classmates. This gave me great strength. Finally, I was the first person to finish.

Our School Has a Sports Meeting Every October

Our school has a sports meeting every October. I join in the 100-meter race every time. Last year, I fell down in the final race. After I got up, it was too late. I couldn’t hold back my tears because of the unexpected failure. Then most of my classmates came around me. They reminded me of the real sports spirit. I’ll never forget the experience. My suggestion is that we can start more fun games so that more students can take part in.
